Why I chose the Bryanston & Organic Market as my shopfront

AnnMack Eco at Bryanston Organic and Natural Market

I never wanted the constraints of a retail shop…not being a fan of malls  and very large shopping centres in any case..I wanted to showcase my products in a space that reflected my own ethos…and in the Bryanston and Organic Market I found my home. It meant relocating but has absolutely been worth it.
The market has been in existence since October 1976 and celebrates 40 years of glorious trading this year. They stand their ground in their selection of stall holders with very strict criteria and accountability. This ensures shoppers and visitors to the market of a unique experience where each vendor has been chosen for what they can contribute to the overall good of the market. Its an outdoor market with each stall enjoying its own covered space. So you’re outside but inside at the same time .
The focus is on organic , sustainable, ethically produced products that can be traced to source. It really is a haven of calm in this crazy consumer driven world . At the market we slow things down…we talk to our customers, we engage, we’re interested, we have time 🙂 AnnMack Eco  aims to bring a little “real” into the home offering a wide range of natural fibre products from wool Basotho Heritage Blankets to unbleached cotton towels and tea towels, bamboo throws , handmade felt slippers, cotton and bamboo baby blankets  and so much more. All locally sourced of course.
